April 25, 2014 by Paul Simone

Picking the right piano brand can be tricky sometimes. The seasoned pianist knows which one suits them and fulfills their musical needs, but for those of us just starting out, it can sometimes be difficult to know which one to pick. This blog post maps out the basics of each: Their country of origin and the date the company was established. For beginners, this can be pretty important information. The longer the company has been making pianos, the more experience they have doing it. The country of origin can have slight differences in design, sound, and durability. Only the most major piano companies are going to be listed here, but keep in mind that there are thousands of other ones.
